Obstruction of justice? SHERIFF DAVID SHOAR blew the cover on an FBI investigation where the County Commission Chair was taping people, Why?

According to a filing in U.S. District Court Friday, Sheriff DAVID SHOAR may have known that THOMAS G. MANUEL, then-Chair of the St. Johns County Commission, was taping people at the request of the FBI, cooperating in their investigation of corruption in St. Johns County. Sheriff DAVID SHOAR is a two-time graduate of FBI Academy courses. So why in the name of all that's holy did Sheriff DAVID SHOAR shoot his mouth off and announce that there was an FBI investigation of THOMAS MANUEL?

Perhaps Sheriff DAVID SHOAR will have the opportunity to explain it to Judge Timonty Corrigan on the witness stand on January 28, 2010 at 9:30 AM at the sentencing hearing in the case of United States v. THOMAS G. MANUEL.

What do you reckon?
