(E-mail to City Manager John Patrick Regan, P.E. and staff)
Dear John et al:
1. Please remove most of the tables at the back of the City Commission room.
2. Kindly leave one table for comment cards and one for the staff, thus allowing more citizens to see and participate in our Commission meetings.
3. Please replace all of the chairs the staff has removed since 2005.
4. No one should have to watch from outside.
5. Staff should give up their seats to citizens.
6. It's called courtesy.
Thank you.
With kindest regards,
Ed Slavin

In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!
