In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Now that BOTH WILLIAM BRUCE HARRISS and RONALD WAYNE BROWN are BOTH gone, it's time to "Let the Healing Begin!"

And don't forget the street performers...Besides the 1st Amendment issue, there are also financial issues...the couple of street performers left meet plenty of visitors from surrounding cities that say they rarely come here anymore because the performers are almost gone. The performers were considered something free to help defray the cost of parking, something the children enjoy, remember and ask about in a city pretty much devoid of entertainment for children, are an educational experience, a source of directions and culinary recommendations and, along with the artists, were a part of the heart and soul of the city.
