St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of REALTORS® AE/CEO Victor J. Raymos, RCE, CRS, ABR has sent out an e-mail fatwa endorsing himself using REALTORS® time, equipment and funds. Endorsing himself for Airport Authority seat, to which he was originally appointed by Gov. RICHARD LYNN SCOTT.
Oh, and he's also endorsing Jeb Smith for County Commission -- Jeb has no opposition and will not be on the ballot.
Our local REALTORS® disorganization is a big 'ole joke, part of the problem of wetland-killing, clearcutting overdevelopment in St. Augustine and St. Johns County.
Will anyone question this guy's ethics

Good Afternoon,
The Board of Directors approved The RPAC Committee’s decision to recommend Jeb Smith for County Commission, District 2 and me for the St Augustine Airport Authority, Group 2. Florida Realtors® has agreed with the Board’s decision.
As you may know, Governor Scott appointed me to the St Augustine Airport Authority, on October 24, 2017. That appointed term will end on January 2, 2019. As a result, I am running to retain that seat on the Airport Authority. My election will not be on the Primary election but will be on the General election on November, 6, 2018.
I am also on the 5-year Master Plan Advisory Committee for the Airport Authority. There is a lot on the line for the future direction for the Airport and the economic development of the 2,200 acres the Airport owns west of US 1. The Board voted to support my election in order to continue to have input on these important discussions and decisions.
I am asking for your support for my election to continue to serve on the Airport Authority. In the meantime, please register to attend the “Politics St. Johns” and participate in the Straw Poll Vote and vote for me. The results of the Straw Poll Vote are just for bragging rights to be used in campaign materials. You must register in order to be able to vote. Registration is free and you can vote and leave or you can vote and stay. Please share the link below that will make it easier for you and others to register.

Registration is free! When you arrive at the events, you will receive a card that will allow you to vote. Voting will be accepted from the start time to 6:30. The results will be announced just before 7:00 pm.
The voting event is Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Solomon Calhoun Center, 1300 Duval St., St. Augustine from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Voting starts at 5:00 and you can vote and leave or you can stay and mingle. The results will be announced just before 7:00 pm.
The Solomon Calhoun Center is off state road 207 just east of Hwy 312. It is by the baseball fields.
Please register early because the voting ballots are limited.
