Hannibal voters reject a sales tax hike
HANNIBAL, Mo. (KHQA) — Hannibal voters on Tuesday said no to a proposed half-cent sales tax hike in the city.
The ballot measure failed to pass with a 395 to 369 vote, according to the Marion County Clerks Office.

Had Proposition One passed, the funds have been used for city-wide infrastructure and remedial improvements.
Voter turnout was 7.68%.
