In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Should St. Augustine, Florida Be Known for Its Red LIght District, Strippers and Honky Tonks? You Decide.
Come tell the St. Augustine City Commission to put any "adult entertainment district" required by First Amendment law behind the St. Augustine Police Department, in the Sebastian Inner Harbor development, where conventioneers can see it, but the rest of us don't have to. August 27, 2007, 5 PM, St. Augustine City Hall and Lightner Museum, 75 King Street, Alcazar Room, 1st Floor. Be sure to fill out a speaker card and invite your friends, relatives nad neighbors.
