In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

SNOOTY MILLIONAIRE JOHN MICA DEMANDS NINTH TERM -- DON'T FEED THE ALLIGATOR
JOHN MICA is one mediocre, mendacious brat -- see Diana Smith's letter and articles galore below. No ninth term -- eight is enough for this creep, who is trying to duck out of the St. Augustine Record editorial board interview long set for October
7th. Like JOHN McCAIN, JOHN MICA is a scaredy-cat who refuses to debate. Send this miscreant packing -- let this certified fool find his way to K Street with the rest of the Washington lobbyists.
JOHN MICA mocked welfare recipients, comparing them to alligators. He was referring to individual, living breathing people. Corporate welfare JOHN MICA adores, which is why he is a lickspittle for corporations wanting earmarks, and says there is "No way in hell" he would oppose abolishing earmarks.
Don't feed the (corporate welfare alligators). Vote to retire JOHN MICA and elect Faye Armitage, an economist, mother of five (and grandmother) to Congress.
