ERROL JONES a/k/a ERRONEOUS JONES MAKES FALSE CHARGE JUDITH SERAPHIN IS A "CARPETBAGGER"

ERRONEOUS JONES is no gentleman and no scholar. Despite having a Master's Degree, he doesn't even know the meaning of the term "carpetbagger." William Safire's New Language of Politics defines a "carpetbagger" as "an outlander moving into a new area to seek political power at the expense of the native politicians."

Judith Seraphin moved to St. Augustine with no thought of running for office. Then when JONES made the motion to send contaminated solid waste back to Lincolnville, Judith Seraphin led the group that stopped the dumping.

JFK was once accused of being a war hero. JFK responded, "it was involuntary. They sank my boat." But for ERRONOUS JONES' motion to bring contaminated solid waste back into Lincolnville, Judith Seraphin would probably have happily speht the rest of her days in St. Augustine without running for office.

ERRONEOUS JONES is a desparate man with no redeeming qualities -- he's mean to every citizen's group that speaks to our City Commission, repeadly insulting persons concerned about illegal dumping, Sunshine violations and Open Records violations.

ERRONOUS JONES is a disgrace to our City. Terming Judith Seraphin a "carpetbagger" shows just how mean and base ERRONEOUS JONES has become since becoming WILLIAM B. HARRISS' attack parrot.

ERREONOUS JONES is the carpetbagger -- raised in St. Augustine, he went away for 20 years, returning only to begin a political career.

The list of honorable politicians once termed "carpetbaggers" by entrenched incumbeents is longer than your arm.

But ERRONEOUS JONES has no sense of history and no sense of irony

ERRONEOUS JONES is an opportunist. Once a member of the Democratic Executive Committee, he registered Republican for political advantage.

ERRONEOUS JONES' bigoted use of the term "carpetbagger" shows he is playing pete nd repeat for his boss, City Manager WILLIAM B. HARRISS and for developers whom County COmmissioner Ben Rich has called "worse than any carpetbagger."





Speaking of ERRONEOUS JONES, he and the City Manager live in one of those "Erroneous Zones" made popular by Wayne Dyer. WHy, they actually expect people to believe that intentionally dumping solid waste in our Old City Reservoir -- 40,000 cubic yards of it -- was a mistake. THat's why we call him ERRONEOUS JONES. If his mouth is moving, it's either a lie or completely erroneous -- you decide.
