Absentee ballots can still be picked up at five locations in St. Johns County.

Those ballots are available today and Tuesday at the main Supervisor of Elections office, the Ponte Vedra Annex, the Julington Creek Annex, Clerk of Courts Office behind the Southeast Branch Library and the Tax Collector's Office in Hastings.

On Tuesday, all voted ballots must be in the Supervisor of Elections main office by 7 p.m. or by 3 p.m. at the drop off locations in order to be counted, said St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections Penny Halyburton.

Ballots can also be dropped off today.

The main office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today.

Except for Hastings, the branch offices are open until 4:30 p.m. today. Hastings is open until 5 p.m.

Absentee ballots cannot be turned in at any of the precinct locations, Halyburton said.

If you request an absentee ballot then decide to vote on the day of the election, you must bring both your absentee ballot and the return envelope to the polling place in order to vote a regular ballot.

Halyburton and her staff spent Sunday putting together the precinct registers that voters will sign when they go to their precincts for Tuesday's general election. They include the information on who has already voted either by early voting or absentee ballots.

Voting on Tuesday is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
