How do you arrest a Sheriff, Judge or County Commissioner?

How do you arrest a Sheriff, Judge or County Commissioner?

Not this way -- hands cuffed in front, so the press can get good "perp walk" photos.
Also, if I were arresting a Sheriff, Judge or County Commissioner, I'd do it while they're in the office or on the bench.

Nothing like a very public arrest to show the people that government corruption will not be tolerated.

On May 21, 1984, I was privileged to see the arrest of ANDERSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE SHERIFF DENNIS. O. TROTTER by FBI Agent Burl Cloninger, et al. They took him out of the courthouse, in handcuffs, in front of him.

TROTTER's questions in the FBI vehicle were revealing: "What's this all about?" and "Who else have you arrested?"

More later.
