The lead story in today's Jacksonville Times-Union points out that PIERRE THOMPSON hasn't found a taker for the 15 acres of wetlands he was required to disgorge as part of the probation agreement for his development company.
The answer is that the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, needs to accept the 15 acres and hold it until Congress enacts the St. Augustine National Historical Park, National Seashore and National Scenic Coastal Highway Act.
