We've been asking that question for years! (See letter bel0w).
When I asked some 140 questions of that nature at the budget hearings several years ago, Commissioners and staff of the City of St. Augustine looked at me like I was a fish. No response. No answers. Not one word.
They're cold fish, utterly incapable of engaging citizens concerned about pollution, fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, misfeasance, malfeasance and nonfeasance.
Now I reckon the City's transmogrified into cold fish out of water as they try to explain their environmental crimes to criminal investigators, et al. as their not getting any federal and state stimulus or grant or earmark funds because of their habitual pollution and mismanagement.
