Preposterous?

Our U.S. Attorney's office needs a better vocabulary. Some judges would consider the use of that word in this context deeply offensive and sanction it. See below.

As the United States Supreme Court has said, our government’s goal “in a criminal case is not that it shall win a case, but that justice shall be done." Berger v. United States, 295 U.S. 78, 85 (1935).

Sounds like our U.S. Attorney's office knows it has problems and is sweating an investigation by the Justice Department Inspector General.

SHOAR's tape with McCLURE suggests that vipers induced the FBI to set up TOM MANUEL.

We need full disclosure of the 302s -- every single one.

We don't need government attorneys who mock civil rights questions.

There are too many government attorneys who are mockers, who violate rights.

As Senator Sam J. Ervin, Jr. (D-NC) said during Watergate, quoting the Bible, "God is not mocked." Galatians 6:7-10: Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

The U.S. Attorney made this mocking filing only one week before Christmas, attempting to block, impede and obstruct justice by denying a criminal defendant (and all of us) access to government records that bear on government corruption and how sleazy GEORGE McCLURE and compliant DAVID SHOAR started a criminal prosecution (while not pursuing MARC JACALONE, KAREN STERN, JAMES BRYANT, RANDY BRUNSON or others of their "ilk.")

Is this about justice or vengeance?

Is this about someone's win-loss record?

Is this about the U.S. Attorney macho/machisma?

Is this about being unwilling to admit mistakes were made.

"Preposterous" is not a word that should ever have been used by the U.S. Attorney after listening to the SHOAR-MCCLURE tape.

We've had quite enough "derisive laughter" from government agencies, starting with Sheriff SHOAR, who thinks County Commissioners should be neither seen nor heard, and that County Commissioners should not talk to neighbors about developers' projects.

As the French philosopher Albert Camus once said, "we must first posit denial and absurdity because that is what our generation has encountered."
