The Lead Republican on the House Transportation Committee says the Obama Administration is not sharing enough information about a terrorist attack that was nearly carried out.
Congressman John Mica says the White House is stonewalling both Republicans and Democrats who are calling for an investigation and more details about the terrorist attack attempt that was nearly carried out on a Detroit-bound plane.
"It appears some grievous errors had been made here. First, issuing a Visa after a warning from family and then not getting this individual on a watch list," says Mica.
He says it has also taken too long to get a TSA Administrator in place, but that move has been stalled by Republican Senator Jim DeMint over concerns that TSA employees will unionize.
Mica is calling for TSA to reorganize and send more of their screeners overseas to prevent any other terror suspects from slipping through the cracks.
