Congressman JOHN LUIGI MICA's inane comments on body scanners are ill-advised and xenophobic

On September 11, 2001, 19 terrorists got on airplanes in the United States, killing 3000.

Apparently, Rep. JOHN LUIGI MICA forgot that when he gave a flip remark (below) about how body scanners are only for foreigners. What a Philistine xenophobe.

Darn glad that TSA hs body scanners in Jacksonville. I don't mind using them (even if TSA can see me "virtually" naked). Somebody's got to do it. It makes our country safe.

Neither should veterans or little 'ole ladies, who also know, scanners help make our country safe.

As the rankest Ranking Minority Member in Congress, Congressman JOHN LUIGI MICA should know better.

But we didn't expect him to say anything intelligent. MICA only does that about once every ten years (sort of like in musical, "Brigadoon," where the town comes to life every 100 years).
