Hate site proprietor MICHAEL GOLD refuses to meet with St. Augustine Record Editorial Board

In yesterday's St. Augustine Record, there 's an endorsement of Bill Leary (whom I support) for City Commissioner. See below. (I agree and endorsed Leary Friday). See below.

There's also a notation in the editorial (below) that his opponent, MICHAEL GOLD f/k/a "MICHAEL TOBIN," inexplicably refused to meet with the Record's Editorial Board.

The only yard signs for GOLD are on the properties of the WHETSTONE family (or other developers and speculators).

GOLD mocked people trying to save our town, and improve it.
GOLD fronted for City Manager WILLIAM B. HARRISS & Co. with disinformation on illegal dumping and other disasters.
GOLD mocks and holds up to obloquy and ridicule people who care about people, not things (like foreign-funded real estate speculators).
GOLD is a predictable practitioner of Lashon hora.
GOLD makes KARL ROVE look like a gentleman by comparison.
GOLD is a political predator and opportunist – the type of fascist that LEE ATWATER would have trained in his dirty politics school. Come to think of it, was MICHAEL GOLD in attendance when LEE ATWATER trained local Republicans how to steal elections?
The reactionary rabid racist sexist homophobic ‘ole troll, MICHAEL GOLD, spent Christmas Eve one year writing about his undying hatred of a local lady who has cancer, hoping she’d die a horrible painful death.
GOLD is exactly the sort of person that we don't need on our City Commission.
Unfortunately, the Record editorial did not mention GOLD's hate websites, only demurely mentioning his putative "Historic City News," which plagiarizes and prints the City's press releases preceded by the predicate, "Historic City News reporters (sic) have learned."
Pink Floyd’s song, "Pink Man" and the Rolling Stones’ song "Sympathy for the Devil" approach the level of what Hannah Arendt called the banality of evil” of this tedious tendentious termagant’s twisted soul.
Vote for Bill Leary for City Commission. Bill has studied our City'[s problems and has creative solutions in mind -- his years of experience as an environmental attorney, advising the Bush and Clinton Administrations, empower him to make our Nation's Oldest City a better place.
