In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

Shameful Florida Legislature Captive of Temple-Destroyers, Foreign-Funded "Developers" Who Are Destroying the Beauty and Nature of Florida
Our Florida Legislature has rolled back the clock 25 years, to the days when developers ruled our state with an iron triangle of bulldozers, politicians and lobbyists. The great American naturalist John Muir called such people "temple-destroyers." See NY TImes article below, and read about our local temple-destroyers, who want to destroy Guana. Florida's new laws make it all the more urgent that we adopt the St. Augustine National Historical Park and National Seashore Act of 2011. www.staugustgreen.com
