Quite Enough Backpatting, Now Where Are Our Water Fountains and Other Public Accmmodations?

Gail Burnick ten years ago, and today again, rightly asked "Where are our water fountains?"
Upon enactment of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the KKK-dominated St. Augustine City Commission removed all public water fountains. Do any remain in public parks here? Gail suggestions a Rainbow Water Fountain at the center of our Slave Market Square. Where there are no longer any water fountains. Not the one replaced by an inauthentic wooden structure. Not the former horse trough, where African-Americans were obliged to drink. But one, with Rainbow colors, where all Americans may drink. No more Jim Crow here. No more segregation. No more $1 to buy a drink of water on St. George Street from KKK or one of their pals. A water fountain. Equality. Now. Please.
Or else a lawsuit under 42 U.S.C. 1981, 1983, 1985 and 1988.
Let's do this before Independence Day. No more hypocrisy. Thank you!. We need others, too. No more $1/bottle for Nestle./
