In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

Danger of Unfair Confusion? BOLES' Creation Creates Danger of Unfair Confusion with Florida Trust for Historic Preservation and the National Trust for Historic Preservation
Shocked MAYOR BOLES Defeated Over Corruption Issues
On April 14, 2010, Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, JR., City Manager JOHN PATRICK REGAN, P.E. and 450th Director DANA STE. CLAIRE registered the name of "ST. AUGUSTINE TRUST FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION, INC." REGAN and STE. CLAIRE claim BOLES incorporated it for the sole reason to "save the name."
But it was stated to be the beneficiary for several years of the MENENDEZ NOCHE DE GALA.
No proof that the Lightner Museum got any GALA proceeds for several years. No records have been prodded for the GALAS for 2012, 2013, and 2014. Where did the money go? Under the Lanham Act, it's illegal to use a name that might involve unfair confusion. In this case, the federal prosecutors might be interested -- there's a federal agency called the Trust for Historic Preservation. State prosecutors might her interested -- there 's also a Florida Trust for Historic Preservation.
BOLESIANS should rename St. Augustine "the home of the whopper!" Former City Manager JOSEPH POMAR once put a Burger King™ king's cardboard hat on his head, but City Manager JOHN PATRICK REGAN needs one now, I reckon.
