In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

City Manager "Thrilled" by Privatization of Dow Museum of Historic Homes and Purchase by DAVID BARTON CORNEAL!
Dear Mr. Regan et al.:
1. Please send all documents on the DAVID BARTON CORNEAL November 2014 Announcement re: Purchase of Dow Museum of Historic Homes, including consultations (if any) by City Manager John Patrick Regan, P.E. with Mayor, Mayor-elect, Commissioners, Commissioner-elect, City Attorney and CORNEAL prior to emitting a public statement that he was "thrilled" by the purchase on First Coast News on November 19, 2014.
2. "Thrilled." See the tale of the tape, here: http://www.firstcoastnews.com/story/news/local/st-augustine/2014/11/19/of-historic-homes/19295359/
3. On whose authority?
4. On what theory?
5. Now the developer in quo is seeking to build a hotel there, which would ruin our historic neighborhood.
6. What did our City Manager know and when did he know it? Was this statement at the behest of Mayor JOSEPH LESTER BOLES, JR., defeated fifteen (15) days before the air date?
7. Please provide all documents promptly, today, without further evasions or animadversions.
Thank you.
With kindest regards, I am,
Sincerely yours,
Ed Slavin
