There are a few local aspiring fora in St. Augustine that appear to be other-directed in the sense that they attempt to chill, coerce, restrain or intimidate First Amendment protected activity, whether about environmental pollution, destruction of our oceans, police abuses, or otherwise.
One of them was contacted by Sheriff DAVID BERNARD SHOAR's sister-in-law to discourage "negative" items, censoring advance publicity about the Michelle O'Connell rally last Saturday.
How gauche and louche.
