Local Heroes Zoning Status Revoked

Citing dozens of citations for operating outside its zoning permit, including late closings, noise complaints and operating on Sunday, PZB members unanimously revoked the special zoning status afforded the St. George Street bar and grill in 2012. It must now operate as a restaurant, with a majority of revenue required to be food, not booze.
Local residents Ronald Mickler, Leonard Pellicer, Nancy Pellicer, David Toner and Richard Bozong all agreed: the noise, fights and lawbreaking must stop.
PZB chair Sue Agresta and the Assistant City Attorney Denise May, cabined Local Heroes' presentation by Jeremiah Mulligan was "irrelevant," based on the citation-driven revocation process in the original use by exception zoning status.
Lawyer Jeremiah Mulligan said there have been no violations since November, and disputed the facts.
But PZB said that the zoning status was conferred based on citations, not convictions (owner Josh Parks was not represented by counsel in 2012 when he agreed to the citation-driven revocation procedure).
