Mendacious Metamorphosis

Our City Manager's sickly Easter column today says every city employee is a hero. "How trite," as my mother would say. Within ten days, JOHN PATRICK REGAN,P.E. has imagined himself Master of the Universe, after his office wrote a resident that "there's nothing we can do" about a broken bench with exposed rebar on the Bayfront before Palm Sunday (not even calling FDOT or referring anyone there).
