In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

August 21st 10 AM Hearing on Visual Artists' First Amendment Motion for Preliminary Injunction Against City of St. Augustine
United States District Judge Brian J. Davis has set an August 21st 10 AM hearing on four St. Augustine visual artists' First Amendment lawsuit and their Motion for a Preliminary Injunction against City of St. Augustine
My prediction: Judge Brian J. Davis will rule for the artists and against the City. He could do so at or shortly after the conclusion of the hearing or shortly thereafter (as Judge Henry Lee Adams, Jr. did on June 7, 2005 in granting preliminary injunction against City in First Amendment case involving Rainbow flags on our Bridge of Lions.
