In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

It's Willliam Rosenstock Day -- 5-0 First Amendment Victory on Free Speech Rights in All St. Johns County Parks!
Today, the St. Johns County Commission voted 5-0 to remove "First Amendment Zone" signs from all county parks. Thanks to Mr. William Rosenstock et al. for today's victory over the forces of oppression. Three cheers!
St. Augustine Beach Civic Association leaders tore up Mr. Rosenstock's signs supporting more parking on Pope Road. They harassed and intimidated him and others supporting First Amendment rights, including former County Commission Chair J. Kenneth Bryan, St. Augustine Beach's former Mayor Edward George, St. Augustine Beach Commissioner Undine Pawlowski-George, et al.lier
Thanks to County Attorney Patrick McCormick, Assistant County Attorney Regina Ross, and St. Johns Commissioners William McClure, Jeb Smith, James Johns Johns, John H. Morris and Chairwoman Priscilla Bennett for abolishing the limitations on First Amendment rights.
Mr. Rosenstock and nine of us other citizens spoke.
Not one speaker supported the ancien regime, which has since 1998 harassed, intimidated, chilled and coerced free speech rights to prevent citizens from organizing and overthrowing the Confederacy of Dunces erected by tree-killing, wetland-killing foreign-funde developers.
Not one (1) speaker from the St. Johns County Democratic Executive Committee bothered to speak in favor of free speech rights, although St. Johns County Democratic State Committeeman DR. WILLIAM McCORMACK, Pharm.D., was present earlier in the day, and had lunch with Republicans at Schooner's Restaurant.
