Not enough chairs for Mayor Shaver's inauguration: we see right through you, JOHN REGAN. (I had asked about it for an entire month, continually patronized by our inept, estimable City Manager).
How's that First Amendment violating scheme working out for you, Mr. City Manager?
(REGAN has admitted publicly that First Amendment violating former City Manager WILLIAM BARRY HARRISS, a/k/a "WILL HARASS" was his "mentor" and that former Mayor LEN WEEKS a/k/a "CLAUDE LEONARD WEEKS, JR. (who destroyed 211-year old DON PEDRO FORNELLS HOUSE working without a permit and who was fined only $3600 on November 12, 2014 in a flawed process, after which City Attorney ISABELLE CHRISTINE LOPEZ hugged WEEKS) was his "mentor on historic preservation."
How uncool is that?
The spirit of RFK and of the fictional Lt. Columbo inspire us all to keep after waste, fraud, abuse, misfeasance, malfeasance, mismanagement, bigotry, inequality, nonfeasance, flummery, dupery and nincompoopery here in our Nation's Oldest City. Enough. When I heard the City Manager sigh the seventh time I went to the podium during the budget hearings, I knew we'd scored important points he wanted our citizens, Mayor and Commissioners not to consider. I wear his scorn as a badge of honor.
Sigh!
We need Cy Vance, Jr. here to prosecute -- our current State's Attorney is inept and corrupt, as the Michelle O'Connell case proved. Who thinks Michelle O'Connell committed suicide?
