In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

Let the Healing Begin
St. Augustine Mayor Nancy Shaver was sworn in by Florida Supreme Court Justice Peggy Quince last December 1, with thunderous applause from 200 residents, most standing because of poor planning by city staff, who refused to remove large tables from the back of the room. The thunderous applause and city-wide support is unprecedented.
Our Nation's Oldest City is in capable hands.
Let the healing begin anew in the spirit of the late Dr. Robert S. Hayling, D.D.S.
Looking forward to reforming our City government, making St. Augustine shining city on a hill, where "We, The People" govern.
