Feds investigating dodgy Limited Liability Companies buying expensive real estate, using LLCs to conceal ownership

St. Johns County developers and real estate speculators may soon receive federal subpoenas. See the New York Times article:

Here in St. Johns County, there are no rules requiring disclosure of beneficial ownership of Limited Liability Companies buying real estate and asking for zoning favors. This allows corruption, money laundering and conflicts of interest to fester. What do you reckon?
