The long arm of the law reached out to a Jacksonville barbecue restaurant Monday, January 4, 2016, with federal agents serving a subpoena on Rep. CORINNE BROWN (D-5th Congressional District). Her Washington, D.C. office press secretary has not yet provided me with a copy of the subpoena, which I have requested. News reports are speculating about its contents, but of course the United States Attorney will not comment. There is yet another federal investigation of Rep. BROWN, by the Federal Elections Commission, over campaign finance issues.
P.S Never the courtesy of a response from Rep. BROWN's press office to my request for a copy of the subpoena. "Political?" That would be her response. There's no evidence that our President and Attorney General are "political" about enforcing criminal laws against politicians, particularly not one of the same political party. Ask former Senator John Edwards. Once again, Rep. BROWN does not make much sense.
