Controversial St. Augustine City Commissioner LEANNA S.A. FREEMAN wants to require court reporter transcripts accompany administrative law appeals to the City Commission -- she wants to discourage appeals of her pals' demolitions and destructive projects. It is time for her to go.
Louche divorce lawyer LEANNA S.A. FREEMAN's latest lame idea was presented in Commissioner's comments at the April 11, 2016 City Commission. She launched a trial balloon about requiring people appealing board decisions to present a transcript.
Her justification for requiring the transcripts? It would make it easier for her in deciding appeals.
This is a small town City Hall's governing body -- not a Court of Appeals. Transcripts are not required. They should not be required.
Requiring transcripts would discriminate against citizens appealing from bad zoning decisions and bad development decisions, which typically benefit the rich and powerful, like DAVID BARTON CORNEAL, CLAUDE LEONARD WEEKS, JR. and other rebarbative reprobates.
LEANNA FREEMAN (R-LEN WEEKSVILLE) is as selfish and self-centered a public official as ever made a chair squeak.

ReplyDeleteEaster Parade
There was a Christian church group who was marching in the parade and they were handing out 8 x 11 sheets of paper printed on both sides with quotes which I believe were from both the bible and quran which were supposed to explain the evils of Islam. I took one of the sheets and folded it up and put it in my pocket and then read it when I got home. It was extremely revolting and I was very saddened that any so-called Christians would participate in anything like this.
Can you do something? This church should be banned from city events. Thank you.
