Mayor O'Brien's Statements "Inoperative?"

St Augustine Beach Mayor Richard O'Brien et ux have purchased a home at 313 South Forest Dune in the gated Sea Colony community.

They paid cash.

$775,000 cash.

On January 13, 2016.

Buying through their corporation, 810 Beach, Inc.

Read it here.

Remember when St. Augustine Beach Mayor Richard O'Brien said he needed approval to build two McMansions on A Street for him and his wife, supposedly to live in one, with his conflict of interest buried in the Record?

Perhaps that statement is now "inoperative," like those of RICHARD MILHOUS NIXON's spokesman, RON ZIEGLER during Watergate.

More than 200 years ago, state courts in Mississippi and Maryland established that if legislation is procured through fraud, a court of equity can set aside the legislation as to the wrongdoer to prevent injustice.

What do y'all reckon?
