PATEL BUYS MARION MOTOR LODGE, 120 Avenida Menendez

Longtime owner Stephanie Kaczmarcyck has sold the Marion Motor Lodge to Kanti Patel for $4.2 million.

Flagler College had sought the Marion Motor Lodge for dormitories.

The old-fashioned motel at 120 Avenida Menendez, directly across from the St. Augustine Municipal Marina, is due for either an upgrade or a teardown. And Kanti Patel's oligopolistic control of the market for motels and hotels in St. Augustine continues…

    Just in case your interested in the facts, this was not sold until
    July 8th.
    It is also located at 120 Avenida Menendez, not 123
    Avenida Menedez.

    Also, the selling price is not correct.
