At his May 18-20, 2016 Budget Hearing, maladroit, mendacious mediocre St. Johns County Administrator MICHAEL DAVID WANCHICK was rude and condescending when I asked about negotiating with UF. Looks like the people of St. Johns County agree with me and disagree with WEASEL WANCHICK about the reinstatement of Mr. Keith Fuller, longtime popular horticultural agent.
Letter: Who does St. Johns County work for, UF or 'us'?
Do commissioners work for UF or county residents? Editor: It has become quite apparent that our county commissioners are not in office to commit to the will of the people by whom they were elected.

The situation regarding Keith Fuller has become ridiculous. Are our commissioners not able to negotiate with the University of Florida to rehire him? The Memorandum of Understanding is apparently not a good thing and should be rescinded.
The people of St. Johns County need and want Mr. Fuller back as our county horticultural agent.
He was a wonderful asset to this county and should not be treated like he has.
As for personnel problems at the Agricultural Center, there have been some.
I worked there for 25 years and remember many. Some of the agents there “look good on paper” but their work ethics are not really productive.
Mr. Fuller worked so diligently and his “numbers on paper” were accurate.
Unless changes are made and Mr. Fuller is brought back, I will no longer support the University of Florida or the Gators.
