September 15 HARB Hearing on Saving 1880 Victorian Home

Reminder: Next Thursday, September 15th the HARB will consider designating the house at 32 Granada ST a local historic landmark. Below is a picture of some of the charming and whimsical architectural details on the structure. 

The home of a well known circus bareback rider and high-wire performer (1905-1934) as well as an Italian immigrant and laborer who, against all odds, became a nationally acclaimed artist (1945-1953), this quaint structure perfectly represents St Augustine's history as a working class city. 

If you don't think we can demolish our way to "authenticity" and "character," then please come to City Hall next Thursday at 1:00 PM if you can and speak in defense of this elegant old Victorian survivor.
