UNANIMOUS -- TWO TREES SAVED IN ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH

Two lovely huge old oaks were saved by St. Augustine Beach City Commission Monday night, September 12, 2016.  The applicant wanted to build a new house and a five car garage. City Commissioners heard public comment, arguments for the applicant, surgeon Dr. Rommelle V. Such, by erstwhile Assistant City Attorney JAMES GEORGE WHITEBOUSE of DOUGLAS NELSON BURNETT's ST. JOHNS LAW GROUP and voted 5-0 to uphold the 7-0 vote of the Planning and Zoning Board.  PZB Chair Jane Wet gave an eloquent and persuasive explanation of the vote by PZB.
