State's Attorney Rehires Disgraced SABPD First Amendment Violator JAMES A. PARKER

Controversial Seventh Circuit State's Attorney RALPH JOSEPH LARIZZA has rehired his controversial former employee, St. Augustine Beach Police Commander JAMES PARKER a/k/a "PORKER."

Under deposition and trial testimony in response to questions by First Amendment defense lawyer Thomas Elijah Cushman, PARKER testified that he had never heard of the First Amendment right to petition for a redress of grievances. PARKER was involved up to his ear balls in First Amendment violations directed at former St. Augustine Beach Code Enforcement Chair William Rosenstock and government watchdog Tom Reynolds, whom he unlawfully detained with his young son at SABPD a/k/a Little Lubyanka after Mayor RICHARD BURTT O'BRIEN made an arguably false police report (he testified December 7, 2017 that he did not have his hearing aid turned on," if anyone believes that, when Judge Howard O. McGillin verbally ordered on October 21, 2016, some six feet from O'BRIEN, that Mr. Reynold's rights to go to City Hall were not to be abridged.

LARIZZA's office confirmed the re-employment in an e-mail, while efforts to get answers from the City of St. Augustine Beach were met with customary stonewalling. Gauche louche LARIZZA, a/k/a "LaLizard" responded in retaliation mode through maladroit staff, demanding $20 for records on the rehiring. Harruph!

In response to Open Records requests, we know that LARIZZA, a/k/a "LaLizard," who is VP of the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association:
A. Still won't explain why he does not follow the National District Attorney's Association National Prosecution Standards, preserving good-ole-boy case management in the Seventh Circuit unswayed by professionalism; and
B. Has such low standards and such a low self-image that he's willing to rehire a former employee who openly and notoriously testified about his ignorance of the First Amendment after more than a third of a century in law enforcement in North Flori-DUH.

As of March 4, 2017, PARKER is still listed on SABPD's website:

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said this was the "most lawless" place "in America." Some say it still is, as exemplified by the Rosenstock and Reynolds cases.

Enough.

"Decency, security and liberty alike demand that government officials shall be subjected to the same rules of conduct that are commands to the citizen. In a government of laws, existence of the government will be imperilled if it fails to observe the law scrupulously. Our Government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the Government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy."
-- Justice Louis Dembitz Brandeis, dissenting in Olmstead v. United States (1928)
