If SJSO had body cameras on the night of September 2, 2010, there would be a record of what happened after Michelle O'Connell was shot, including spoliation of evidence and kid-gloves treatment of Deputy Jeremy Banks.
We need police body cameras here in St. Johns County and in St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach, Florida. Now. No more excuses.
Speak in public comment and ask St. Johns County Commissioners (and City Commissioners) to reserve money in budget for body cameras.

The careers and reputations we protect will be those of our police officers, who are protected from false accusations with body cameras.

Demand answers.
Expect democracy.
Come to the budget hearings.
Ask for body cameras.

The police body cameras will solve a considerable number of issues, it will show what events happen and protects everyone involved, the police, the person of interest and the community as a whole.
It is just good practice and money well spent.
