A warning to Kansans: Kris Kobach has gained prominence by scamming cities (KANSAS CITY, PRO PUBLICA)

Kansas Secretary of State and Governor candidate KRIS KOBACH (if that's his real name) ripped off small towns for $800,000 while his rickety ordinances were tossed out of court.

His business plan was identifying a problem and selling his "legal services," such as they are -- a honkytonk medley of Green Acres' "Mr. Haney," "Prof. Harold Hill" in Music Man and First Amendment "expert" MICHAEL KAHN."

KOBACH hates on immigrants to make money.

KAHN hates on street entertainers to make money.

Both are hick hack members of the National Republican Lawyers Association, who prey on fear.

Like KOBACH, KAHN is an accomplished conman, whose unconstitutional anti-artist ordinances have cost St. Augustine taxpayers hundreds of thousands in legal fees hounding art, music and fun off St. George Street.  KAHN's most recent "victory" over free speech in St. Augustine was its dubious, unconstitutional panhandling ordinance, adopted without answering the questions and concerns we raised, and susceptible to First Amendment lawsuit like KAHN's other abortions.
