Coronavirus Florida: Why was Ag chief Nikki Fried left off governor’s economic task force? (Palm Beach Post)

Florida Governor RONALD DION DeSANTIS -- "monkeying up" Flori-DUH's response to global pandemic?  Too big for his britches?  Snooty, snarly, whiny, just like his idol, DJT?

You tell me.

Hon. Nikki Fried is our elected Florida Secretary of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Tallahassee Republicans voted to steal an energy policy organization from DACS and now our Boy Governor has excluded her from the Governor's nearly all-white, all-male economic task force.

This is viewpoint discrimination and violates the First Amendment.  It shows contempt for diversity and democracy.    See, e.g. Reed vTown of Gilbert 135 S.Ct. 2218 (2015)Sherrill v. Knight, 569 F.2d 124 (D.C. Cir. 1977).

Governor DeSANTIS is a Harvard Law School graduate and former government and corporate lawyer, the mendacious man who in 2012 falsely claimed to be a Navy SEAL when he was in truth a JAG Corps janissary.

Wealthy then-Governor RICHARD LYNN SCOTT sold the state plane and flew in his own private jet.  In 2019, legislators voted to buy for the new and future Governors' use a $15.5 Cessna Citation Latitude.

Let's rename it, "The Attitude."

Our Boy Governor has a lot of learning to do about governing,  Enough gooberishness.

From Palm Beach Post/USA Today:

Democrat Nikki Fried said she wasn’t asked to serve.
Gov. Ron DeSantis’ economic revival task force includes a who’s who of state government leadership — except the one Democrat on Florida’s Cabinet.
Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services Nikki Fried was left out. Fried tweeted on Monday that her exclusion left voiceless Florida’s agricultural industry, a major stakeholder.

I wasn't asked to serve alongside my fellow Cabinet members on the task force, which has no voice on membership representing Florida’s $137 billion agriculture industry.

I hope @GovRonDeSantis will join my commitment to supporting our farmers and feeding our families.

The task force is charged with developing a blueprint to reopen the state’s $1.1 trillion a year economy, which has been closed down to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Two other state Cabinet officers, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis and Attorney General Ashley Moody, were asked to serve along with Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nuñez.
So were Senate President Bill Galvano and House Speaker Jose Oliva. All are Republicans.
The task force also includes two Palm Beach County figures. They are county mayor David Kerner and Eric Silagy, president and CEO of Florida Power & Light Company, which is based in Juno Beach.
