Welcome Matthew Metz, Our New Public Defender for the Seventh Judicial Circuit

The 7th Judicial Circuit has a new Public Defender, whom we all got to vote for -- no closed primary here,

Mr. Metz is a young lawyer-manager with the Seventh Judicial Circuit State's Attorney, who gave thoughtful answers, did not garner support of corrupt Sheriffs, and did not promise to cut his budget or attack Senator Bernie Sanders in exchange for support from Trump Club or other Dull Republicans.

Mr. Metz graduated from SUNY-Buffalo, a fine school noted for critical legal studies.

In the criminal injustice system, the Supreme Court cases of Gideon v. Wainright and Argersinger v. Hamlin must be respected and not  neglected.

Mr. Metz will have some 80+ assistant public defenders and represent some 2/3 of all criminal defendants in the Seventh Judicial Circuit, which embraces St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler and Volusia County.

Three cheers for Matthew Metz!

Now let's replace the insolent, indolent, insufferable, incumbent State's Attorney, corrupt RALPH JOSEPH LARIZZA, on November 3.  Elect Don Dempsey, who opposes racism, mass incarceration for victimless crimes and the other fetid, feckless features of the criminal injustice system under LARIZZA.
