In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

Multinational corporation, SIGNS NOW, stiffs and sabotages St. Augustine Beach Vice Mayor Maggie Kostka
SIGNS NOW is a multinational corporation with dozens of franchise locations in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Was St. Augustine Beach, Florida Vice Mayor Maggie Kostka, a reformer up for re-election as Commissioner, sabotaged by SIGNS NOW's inexplicable four (4) week delay in producing her campaign letters, which could have easily been done in-house, instead of sent to an out of town printer? Why were they not produced in-house, instead of being sent elsewhere?
SIGNS NOW finally offered to provide to her only four (4) days before the election)?
Her opponent, a retired Lt. Colonel, defeated her by a few hundred votes -- ERNESTO JUAN TORRES was also a SIGNS NOW client.
Is this multinational corporate a deeply dysfunctional organization that breaches contracts with impunity?
When the local franchisee calls corporate oligarchs daily to check on delayed printing job, and a reform Vice Mayor is stiffed on her simple printing order, we deserve answers.
Potential customers, beware.
Is the name "SIGNS NOW" misleading under the Federal Trade Commission Act, Section 5, and the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Pracices Act?
