In secret, behind locked gates, our Nation's Oldest City dumped a landfill in a lake (Old City Reservoir), while emitting sewage in our rivers and salt marsh. Organized citizens exposed and defeated pollution, racism and cronyism. We elected a new Mayor. We're transforming our City -- advanced citizenship. Ask questions. Make disclosures. Demand answers. Be involved. Expect democracy. Report and expose corruption. Smile! Help enact a St. Augustine National Park and Seashore. We shall overcome!

Who is CLAY LINFORD MEEK?
Newly named lawyer for St. Augustine Port, Waterweay abnd Beach District.
Obstructs Open Records requests on longtime illegalities, including longtime failure to obtain legally bonds for Board members.
Arrogated title of "General Counsel" to himself at December 18, 2020 St. Johns County Legislative Delegation meeting.
On December 18, 2020, SAPWB lawyer Clay Linton Meek recently arrogated to himself the title of "General Counsel" in talking down to our St. Johns County Legislative Delegation, inter alia demanding a "local bill" with no draft legislation, no SAPWB resolution, no study, and no research, proposing to expand the district boundaries county-wide.

This misguided first-time government lawyer badly needs to learn Open Records law.
He dawdled for 42 days with my requests.
On December 31, 2020, upon receiving Meeks' lengthy and discrusive mumbo-jumbo, I wrote to Florida Assistant Attorney General Patricia Gleason, "will you please help teach Clay Linton Meeks to kindly respect our Florida Constitution, article I, Section 24 and F.S. 119 and 286?" I stated, "I will treasure the opportunity for you and Attorney General Ashley Moody to help educate SAPWBD and its hostile new lawyer, one Clay Linton Meek, an unenlightened solo practitioner who dawdles and attempts to overcharge records request[er]s."
