MEDIOCRITY LOVES COMPANY? St. Johns County Commission Hires JAMES, BEDSOLE, JAMES NICHOLAS

St, Johns County Attorney PATRICK FRANCIS McCORMACK (above) will soon be replaced by DAVID MIGUT, his former acolyte, whose contract will be negotiated in an open meeting with Chairman JEREMIAH RAY BLOCKER on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 11 am.  

One of his last official acts was to recommend two new hires of JAMES BEDSOLE and JAMES NICHOLS::

• without EEO compliance, 
• without posting or advertising, 
• without any prior public notice of its being on the agenda.

Sneaky soon-to-retire St. Johns County Attorney PATRICK FRANCIS McCORMACK on October 5, 2021 procured the Board of County Commissioners of St. Johns County's unanimous vote hired two (2) mendacious mediocrities:  

Consider it McCORMACK's parting gift to the mediocre, of whom a Roman Hruska, a Nebraska Republican U.S. Senator, once said "deserve representation,"  

McCORMACK showed no shame in getting Commissioners to hire two persons pleasing to the formidable forces arrayed against the public interest, 

McCORMACK snuck it in at the end of the meeting, in County Attorney report, 

That's what sneaky County and City lawyers and managers have been doing forever. 

EEO laws and transparency required both hires to be posted and advertised.

Failure to provide it shows an overweening desire to dispense government funds to lapdogs 

The governing philosophy of St. Johns County might be "Gimme, gimme, gimme, my name's Jimmy," as the character Willie Stark said in Robert Penn Warren;s All The King's Men, or "Ubi eat mea," the Latin motto that Mike Royko suggested for Chicago in Boss, his biography about longtime Chicago Mayor Richard J, Daley.

All hail the latest two undeserving white male donee beneficiaries of St. Johns County Board of County Comissionrs' louche largesse to Dull Republicans.

St. Johns County observed its 200th anniversary in 2020 by celebrating "200 Years of Excellence."  

Apparently, in a $1.3 billion/year operation bossed and bullied by corporations through the actions and inactions of five incurious county-wide elected Northeast Flori-DUH Republicans, "they think "mediocrity is the new excellence."

Dr. JAMES C. NICHOLAS, Ph.D.,, xxxx, the man responsible for St. Johns County;'s inadequate system of developer impact fees, who has numerous conflicts of interest and appearances of improperly, working for developers and large landowner,

JAMES EDWIN BEDSOLE, as "Special Magistrate" to decide a dangerous dogbite case. BEDSOLE is the maladroit former counsel to the St. Augustine Port, Waterway and Beach District, who resigned in 2020 after ten years, mostly without a contract or engagement letter, helping to coverup election lawbreaking by longtime Chairman BARRY MARK BENJAMIN's being a non-resident, a fact established by his living in Jacksonville with his wife and mother, while falsely claiming to be a St. Johns County voter, based on a false claim he lived aboard a boar!
