Convicted of defrauding some of his law clients of some $100,000 disgraced former prosecutor CHRISTOPHER WILLIAM ADAMEC was sentenced to 22 months in prison by Circuit Court Judge Howard M. Maltz on January 9, 2019, with a release date of November 9, 2020. ADAMEC alleged he suffered from mental illness and a misdiagnosis in a two hour sentencing hearing.
ADAMEC was released early, on July 29, 2020, and is now living in Naples, Florida, subject to ten years of probation and the requirement to pay restitution to his victims.
ADAMEC currently faces malpractice litigation before Judge Maltz from two of his former law clients.
