Cognitive Miser Commissioners at Multi-billion Dollar County Budget Workshop: $1900 chair request. No streaming video coverage. No accounting codes. No answers. No manners. Why.

Controversial St. Johns County Administrator HUNTER SINCLAIR CONRAD and three out of five of our all-Republican County Commissioners showed their contempt for democracy this morning. 

Nearly three hours of budget presentations.  Only three minutes for public comment. 

Then my request for a little extra time was DENIED by oppressive, haughty, naughty, disrespectful  St. Johns County Administrator HUNTER SINCLAIR CONRAD ("Clerk E" in 2019 federal criminal indictment iin United States of America v. PENN CREDIT CORP and DONALD DONAGGHER.)

Two of five St Johns County Conmissioners, Isaac Henry Dean and Krista Keating Joseph, were all for allowing me an extra two our three minues. 

But there was "no consensus" because three Reichwing Commissioners, ROY ALAIMO, JR., Chairman CHRISTIAN WHITEHURST and Vice Chair SARAH ARNOLD, would not agree. These three cognitive misers don't like questions. They can't handle the truth. 

ALAIMO and ARNOLD were appointed of Governor RONALD DION DeSANTIS, 

WHITEHURST and ALAIMO have not announced if they will seek election in 2024; ARNOLD was re-elcted in 2022, with signs stating DeSANTIS appointed her.

All of these people claim to be "fiscal conservatives."  Don't believe it, my friends,

Waiting for answers fronm these other-directed Dull Republicans is like waiting for Godot. 

 I asked for the full 600 page budget book, with accounting codes. 

I asked for the specifications for s $1900 chair that our Fire Department would like to buy, and for the Countty staff to bring in the chair. Sounds like one of those $600 toilet seats our Pentagon once bought. 

Despite repeated requests, 2016-date: 

o Budget workshops are not televised on St. Johns County GTV. 

o Budget workshops are not adequately publiczed -- on County website calendar only a few days in advance. 

o Budget workshops hardly ever answer our questions. 

They used to, when Michael David Wanchick was County Administrator, 2007-2019.  Since that time, an rude young opportunistic sixth-rate graduate of a defunct law school (Florida Coastal), with an accounting degree from North Greenville University, has been duked in to the job by sinister, cynical SilverLeaf developer-Senator TRAVIS JAMES HUTSON as his cat's paw.

In 2020 and 2021, uncouth County Administrator HUNTER SINCLAIR CONRAD said to me, "I don't have to answer your questions, I work for the Board of County Commissioners." 

It's our money.

The budget workshop will continue this afternoon from 1-4 pm, on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 9 AM, and again at 9 AM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.  The meetings are being held at the Agricultural Center 3125 Agricultural Center Drive, so you can't go the County Auditorium, website or Government TV channel to watch it.   Wonder why?

All county meetings need to be televised. This is 2023. And we need to be considerate

of our older residents and persons with disabilities.   Our maladroit County Commission and staff lack the. consideration that God fave a goat.

And that's the way it is here in corrupt St. Johns County, where autocratic oligarchs rule, democracy is in shreds, developers clear-cut forests, kill entire ecosystems, destroy our wildlife, overcrowd our schools and clog our roads all in the name of excess lavish profits for wicked wastrels like developer-Senator TRAVIS JAMES HUTSON.
