"Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord."
Proverbs 12:22-28:
Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal truthfully are His delight. A prudent man conceals knowledge, But the heart of fools proclaims foolishness.
"When it is not necessary to change, it is necessary NOT to change." -- Lord Falkland, one of JFK's favorite conservative British politicians. Please compare and contrast the insipid October 17, 2023 testimony of JAMES HIGBEE, self-proclaimed President of the St. Johns County Young Republicans, at 3:12:00 on the Commission video, at link, inter alia claiming that our beloved heroic St. Johns County Commissioner Krista Keating Joseph was somehow not a "conservative" because she supports protecting our trees from deforestation. Who the heck is JAMES HIGBEE? Discuss, please. https://stjohnscountyfl.new.swagit.com/videos/276726
In the British Parliament, they'd heckle him, pounding palms on desks, repeating, "Reading! Reading! Reading!"
JAMES HIGBEE (b. January 17, 1994): what rough beast waltzes into our SJC BoCC, ululating nonsense?

Just another far right operative trying to intimidate people into pushing further and further to the right. That's a right wing tactic these days. Make false accusations that someone "isn't one of us" if they don't check every block on some far right manifesto. In the case of environmental issues and trying to demonize people who take up those issues locally, it's all about clearing the way for GOP hogs to make money building and land speculating. God forbid they use that money to open a business and serve the public and employ people for good wages. They want the easiest money possible.
ReplyDelete🤡"A Democrat operative."🤡
ReplyDeleteYeah we wish buddy! That REALLY was just a personal attack speech and violation of decorum. That and even most of the Democrats in SJC are conservative on a lot of things so perhaps he should be calling them "DINOS" instead of calling the commissioner a "RINO." Trumpian dagwood fail!😆
He said what they were doing was "massive government over reach." No, massive government over reach would be people being arrested and detained when they broke no laws, or businesses being expropriated, or government tracking everyone in real time. To conservatives, anything they don't like or anything that people have a problem with that they don't want to stop doing, is "massive government over reach." If a conservative Republican was caught selling drugs and they were arrested, they'd complain about "massive government over reach." In fact, democracy is "massive government over reach" to conservatives.

ReplyDeleteWhen I click on more it doesn't show me any more. Is there supposed to be more to the story? Who is this guy?
