So overrated, deeply disappointing, controversial St. Johns St. Johns County Sheriff ROBERT HARDWICK is among the 55 deluded Dull Republican Sheriffs have endorsed an incorrgibly crass, crude, corrupt devious dingbat, a sexist, racist, misogynist, handsy, despicable, annoying, cloying, threatening, riot-inciting four-time indicted, twice impeached insurrectionist for President?
A jury found DONALD JOHN TRUMP liable for sexual assault -- $5,000,000 verdict.
Then another jury found DONALD JOHN TRUMP liable for defaming his victim -- $83,300,000 verdict.
The feculent Florida Sheriff's Association claims it does not endorse political candidates due to its non-profit status. So who organized these 55 bullies, toadies and satraps to use their official titles to endorse such a nasty man? Is there a name for this rump group of TRUMP-supporting Sheriffs? If it needs a name, may I suggest "Confederacy of Dunces?"
Who would ask a Southern sheriff for instructions about whom they should vote for President? How arrogant, overbearing and insulting, supine, sibilant shallow, superficial, Florida Sheriffs. Stay in your lane, you louche lugubrious goobers. The whole world is watching you. We the People reject your works and pomps, and the same goes triple for your Presidential candidate, DONALD JOHN TRUMP.
From Florida Politics:
55 Florida Sheriffs line up behind Donald Trump’s presidential bid
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has the backing of the vast majority of Florida Sheriffs.
Donald Trump now has the endorsement of 55 of Florida’s 67 county Sheriffs, as they felt emboldened to endorse in the wake of Ron DeSantis leaving the presidential race. DeSantis had touted the endorsements of 60 Sheriffs when he was still a candidate last year.
“As Sheriffs, we understand that government’s primary responsibility is to protect its citizens, and we need a President in the White House who will stand with us as we protect our citizens, their freedoms and our communities,” said Brevard Sheriff Wayne Ivey.
“President Trump has a proven track record of protecting our great nation,” Ivey continued. “They say that past performance predicts future performance, and as President, Donald Trump exceeded at every level. He secured our borders, stood strong with our law enforcement officers, targeted drug traffickers and fentanyl dealers, fought to protect our Constitutional Rights, and once again, made our military the most revered in the world!!”
Trump is facing off against former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in the New Hampshire Presidential Primary on Tuesday.
“This group of Florida Sheriffs are proudly endorsing Donald Trump for President of the United States because we need him in the White House protecting our country and standing with us, as we protect you and our communities!” Ivey concluded.

To be fair, what other choice does Hardwick have? If he doesn't endorse Trump, that could only hurt him politically or anger many in the community. Whether or not he really does or doesn't like Trump is irrelevant because Trump has cooked his goose anyway. Anyone who isn't conservative in town is fed up with Trump and his stupid supporters so they are used to it. He can only lose by not endorsing Trump and it's not like he needs to virtue signal. He's "keeping everyone safe" so he needs no validation as a moral compass.
ReplyDeleteOh no! Not his political career! Whatever would he do without it?!? Grow a spine and sprout morals? He's more likely to grow a horn out of his forehead.
DeleteHardwick is corrupt as they come.
Proof and evidence for your claims of corruption? They have to get elected so they can't avoid politics. I'm sure they wish they could, not to mention lying is a necessity in modern American politics unfortunately. The whole system morally bankrupt because so many bad people like to fight dirty. There's no friendly game of ping pong happening anymore. Just too many bad people seeking office so stakes are high.
DeleteSomeone needs to give some of these local politicians copies of JFK's Pulitzer Prize group biography, "Profiles in Courage."
ReplyDeleteSome of them more complicit in the fascism than others. Many local Republicans knew Trump was bad news from the start, some pushed the far right propaganda, while others simply waited for the storm to pass and went about their business. Stayed out of politics. Our system of checks and balances was set up to make movements like Trumpism a failure. Germany also has a similar system but in my opinion theirs is better.
DeleteTrump is only a symptom of a disease. That disease is abominable stupidity. His supporters are worse than him.
ReplyDeleteIt's a right wing police state. Of course they will endorse a far right mad man. Ideally, local elected leaders wouldn't be endorsing candidates for federal office publicly, and claim to be about "states rights" and "local politics." You aren't keeping it local if you endorse someone from NYC who has been indicted 90+ times for felonies. That and why the hell would a local sheriff endorse someone who has been indicted 90+ times for President of the United States? All of this to maintain favor? That's pretty sad when you maintain favor that way. These crackers have lost it.
ReplyDeleteRemembering Holocaust Memorial Day today, I'm disappointed at the Sheriff's supporter's justification. Would violent mobs have attacked him, as on 1/6, if he declined the honor of endorsing TRUMP? His military and police retirement pensions are secure. He could have been a conscientious objector on this endorsement. "Silence gives consent," the ancient equitable legal maxim says,. Character counts.
ReplyDeleteDuval County TK Waters is on the list. He is unbelievably bad! Crime is booming in Duval because TK is so weak.
ReplyDeleteThe lack of creativity by Republicans in solving social and economic problems is just something the police have to deal with after the fact. Voting Republican keeps them in business. Others in society not so much. Their policies induce inegalitarian society and misery for all.
DeleteI see the hate is still here...
ReplyDeleteThis is what "minimal government" brings folks. A right wing police state where politicians run solely on law and order politics. Millions rotting in jail so that some empty suit can justify his position in public office. That's one reason to vote for parties that base their candidacy on other things like doing things for people in society. Locking people up doesn't qualify nor does letting the market run wild while people are paid shit. A few people getting rich at the expense of everyone else isn't achievement.
ReplyDelete"Need more internal controls before I advocate for tax increases." Is someone gonna do that for free? You personally gonna pay someone to do it Ed? God knows if your position on taxes is the same as every other hog in town you won't be able to get in there as commissioner and do it yourself! Saving poor people a dime? What sort of logic is that man you've got money going from hog to hog here, and to big business right on out of the community forever. Don't you think you'd wanna yank some of that and give it to others in the community before it's gone forever? Hello!!! What Democrat ever won on an anti-tax, small government platform? That's compromise to you?
