ANNALS OF DeSANTISTAN: Trump mocks DeSantis after testy Fox interview over Iowa results. (The Hill)

Our angry ex-Congressman from St. Johns County, RONALD DION DeSANTIS, the butt of late night comics' jokes, lays another egg while insurrectionist indicted ex-President DONALD JOHN TRUMP celebrates.  Pity sibilant sinister insecure supercilious DeSANTIS's staff as he ululates and looks for punching bags.  Picture poor pitiful corporate shill RONALD DION DeSANTIS in the snows of N.H. wearing his "snow heels," as NPR's "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" host said this week.  Pray for angry DeSANTIS to find peace.  We need public servants, not public serpents like Boy Governor.  It's time for him to go back to work for the State of Florida.  Enough flummery, dupery and nincompoopery from Dull Republican satrap DeSANTIS and his cult of no personality and no class.

From The Hill:

Trump mocks DeSantis after testy Fox interview over Iowa results

Former President Trump mocked an interview rival GOP presidential candidate Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis gave over the results from the recent Iowa caucuses.

“Ron DeSanctimonious short circuits when confronted with the fact he didn’t win a single county in Iowa,” Trump posted to his Truth Social site Saturday.

Trump easily earned 98 out of 99 of Iowa’s counties Monday during the first test of the 2024 election season. Fellow Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley beat out Trump by one vote in one county, keeping him from a complete sweep of the state.

In a recent interview with Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto, DeSantis arguedabout the results, pushing back on claims that his campaign efforts in the state failed.

DeSantis finished second overall in the Iowa caucuses, after he invested heavily in the Hawkeye State and visited all 99 counties while campaigning.

“If you look at Iowa, you know, we did it right. I mean, we got the endorsement of the governor, we won the debates,” DeSantis said on air. “We did the televised town halls, you know, got great response.”

Cavuto interrupted, saying that although DeSantis did all those things, he didn’t “win a single one,” referring to the Iowa counties.

“But I also had, I mean, you know, how many people would have been able to handle $50 million in ads, how many people would have been able to handle all the headwinds? We had a very uphill battle, we dug in and we executed and we did run hard and we did do well.”

Now, Trump, DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley will face off in the next election of the year, the New Hampshire primaries on Jan. 23. According to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ polling average, Trump leads the pack.

Just another empty suit who doesn't believe in government. Only thing that will be different once he's gone is a few capitalists will have made a few dimes more off of land and labor exploitation. The average Joe doesn't benefit from any of my this and nothing changes for anyone who doesn't already have a fist full of money. These people don't build colosseums, public baths, or pyramids. They don't heal the sick and feed the poor. Jesus would not be pleased.

Republicans tearing each other's eyeballs out while their constituency complains about the possibility that they work with the other side. What a clown show. Chinese panda is laughing at all of it.

DeSantis conceded today and endorsed the 90+ felony charges of the guy who insulted him for years. So much for law and order. It's law and order for those who aren't rich. Also, he accused the people who are trying to hold Trump accountable for his crime spree of engaging in "lawfare." Yeah lemme just go out and commit crimes in Florida and then try to use that as a defense. I'll tell them that defense was created by Ron DeSantis therefore legitimate.
