(DRAFT)

MURPHY'S LAW: "If something can go wrong, it will go wrong.: PROOF OF "MURPHY'S LAW?

$190/night for hotel room and $50 night for parking.  Commissioner MURPHY WAS A NO-SHOW.

On June 24, 2025, St. Johns County Commissioner CLAY MURPHY, now Commission Chair, was scheduled to attend Ethics, Sunshine and Open Records training sponsored by the Florida Association of Counties, at this fancy-bears Hilton Hotel in Orlando.  A former Florida Highway Patrolman, Mr. Murphy did not attend the entire session.  He left after a few minutes.  We, the People still paid his hotel bill. IN FULL  It's our money.   MURPHY says he did attend other sessions, including corporate-sponsored events.  The first day was a waste of our money, because he left the Ethics, Public Records and Sunshine Laws training on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, scheduled for 2 pm to 6 pm.  Where's our refund?
