St. Johns County Commission Breaks Tradition: No Judge Swore in Recently Elected Commissioners This Morning!

County Court Judge Charles Tinlin, Circuit Court Judge Howard O. McGillin and other judges formerly swore in recently-elected County Commissioners, until this morning.

Today, St. Johns County Clerk of Courts and Comptroller BRANDON PATTY did the job -- PATTTY is the Chair of the St. Johns County Republican Executive Committee.  No one ever voted for him.  Governor RONALD DION DeSANTIS duked him into the gig, and he had no opposition on the ballot.

If I were a Commissioner, I would want a judge, not a political hack, to swear me in!

So why was BRANDON PATTY selected?

As REC Chair, has BRANDON PATTY signed partisan mailings arguing that Joe Biden is not the President-elect?   Please forward them to me at easlavin@aol.com

Some dull Republicans are not unlike lemmings, or kamikazes, following in the wake of the wannabe dictator in the White House.

In 2022, I hope an actual judge swears in our Commissioners, symbolic of the Rule of Reason (rather than the Rule of Rubes).  Photo from Wikipedia, where 39-year old BRANDON PATTY already has a page!
